Biography:
Mark is a small business owner who has long been active in Republican politics, serving as a precinct chairman, county party chairman, and on the Republican Party executive committee in his local community. He is an elder in his church and he and his wife Debbie live in Jackson County, North Carolina.

Mark is the Republican nominee to replace retiring congressman Heath Shuler.
